Trunk lid issues

Ok so the trunk lid on my 55 has good gaps all around and matches the body everywhere except under the rear window it is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch low in the center of the trunk. Any thoughts?

Body caved in, lid contour wrong?
Do you have another car to compare the contours on the body and lid with?

its almost like the trunk lost its bow in the center. The body is actually higher in the center than the trunk
