55 belair clock

I have a issue , I like to replace the clock in my 55 belair, I have heard I would have to push it in and turn counter clockwise.. ok so I can push it in wont turn , wont turn any ideas. thanks guys...

PS. Why are you *replacing* your clock? Oftentimes they only need cleaning and lubricating with a light lubricant, and cleaning/filing the points... (Yes, your clock has points)... :)
