Can anyone tell me if an original GM male seat belt buckle portion will work with the Juliano's GM styled female seat belt buckle portion? Want to do so since I have a good working retractable GM male housing and belt but need a longer belt with the female section for the bench seat. Have to route the female belt section up and under the fold forward front seat back and the original GM female bucket seat belt is too short to do so.

If you have both seat belts, it's easy enough to TRY the combination you are asking about. If not, and you are considering purchase of a long Juliano's female side (and will they sell just one half?).. I have no experience with the Juliano's belts, but a good first step would be to CaLL them and ask? and also ask if they are willing to sell just the female half?

PS. Most of us would also be concerned about the match between 'color' and style...??

Called Juliano's today and talked to one of the techs. It's a no go with the compatibility of the two belt sections. Juliano's GM styled buckle has an entirely different male section that will not mate up to the older GM female buckle section. The older GM seat belts like I have from a 68 Chevelle have a more square buckle end not like the rounded & tapered section Juliano's uses. So.....looking into the cost and turn around time of having my two female belt sections re-webbed. The new webbing may not match my existing belt webbing style but with the male portion in the retractible position and the female section laying across the seat don't think it will be an issue.

Is Juliano's willing to 'reweb' your two GM ends for you? Feasibly?

The tech I talked to was going to get back to me within a day or two. Said it may be feasible for them to re-web but not sure about the $$ or the turn around time. Will post here when I get that information.

There are other companies out there that will re-web seat belts.

Got a call from Juliano's tech. It's a no go from them for the re-webbing.

Rick_L, any re-webbing seat belt companies that you can recommend or have personal experience with?

No, just that I've seen some advertised in the past.
