Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I recently purchase a backyard partly stripped 57 Belair 4dht and am beginning to restore. She is missing the engine, transmission and most of the front end. Apparently the original owner was allowing his grandson to strip and sell the parts.
This is not my first Belair. 44 years ago my brother and I purchased the exact model and drove it most of our high school years. We sold it shortly after I went into the Navy and have regretted it every day since. I found this one by accident and couldn't resist. So my journey begins.
I joined the forum here for the same reasons as most I suppose. To learn from others and to share my experience. I would like to thank everyone ahead of time for any help I may receive. I look forward to corresponding.
