1957 cowl 1" lower than 55, and 56 still on Nomad ?

The 1957 Chevrolet cowl is 1" lower than on a 55 or 56 Chevrolets making the windshield 1" lower . is the 57 Nomad windshield still 1" lower than on the 55 or 56 Nomads ?

I'm not sure what you're saying (or asking?), Domenic... can you explain a bit more or provide a diagram/photo of what you're speaking of? (I CAN tell you that the '55-56 Nomad windshield is different than '57 Nomad windshields!)...

The cowl on all 57s is the same including Nomads. And it's different from 55-56.

Bama and Rick L thank you for your response to my question regarding the difference on the 1957 Chevrolet Cowl and windshield height as compared to a 1955 and 1956 Cowl and windshield . I was curious if by some chance that they may have started with the different 57 lower cowl and windshield on the 55 and 56 Nomad since the bodies on these 1955- thru 1957 Nomads were so different from their regular production line . Bama by you stating that the windshield is different between the 1955/56 Nomads and the 57 nomads answers my question . I know some of these questions are confusing and I appreciate your patience . Thanks to you both , Bama and Rick L .

All firewalls the same for each 55-57 models for each year. The 57 is shorter than 55 or 56.
