I have 4 sets of wiper arms that I have removed from various tri5s over the years. One set is the originals from my Nomad, but I'm not sure which ones they are. I think they're the two hook end ones without the blades in the pic below.

The problem is they're 3 or more different lengths for the arms and blades. One pair has a different attach method on the end so I assume they're aftermarket or something.

Do sedans and hardtops have different length wiper arms and blades, since the windshields are different height? Which length is the correct ones for Nomads and hardtops? Also, where do you get blades or refills for these old wipers?

Here's the wipers off of my 56 parts car. The part on the right is the Anco refill. Probably not available like that anymore.

This is what mine look like. 55 2 door sedan. Blades are 11 3/4" long and the end of the arms and the blades are slightly different than yours at the attachment point.
I know these are not originals. They are repros that are most likely from CCI or Danchuk which I most likely purchased in the late 80's or early 90's. Rarely use them as they work like crap even being electric (original electric, California car), I use rainX on the windshield when we go to Back to the 50's as it the only show we stay overnight that getting caught in rain is a possibility.

I got replacement refills from the Truck and Car shop in Orange, CA..........but that was about 5 years ago. I've used them a couple of times and they seem ok, but like you said, 50's electric wipers. Nothing like my Chevelle.

I have seen two types of arms, the straight end (bayonet) ones and the hook ones like mine. Yours look like the straight ones.

I have seen the ones like yours for sale online, but I don't want to change the whole arms since I have them. Mine say "TRICO" on the arms, and the blades vary. I read that TRICO bought Anco years ago. I'm just looking for some replacement refills, but apparently you can't get just the refill like in my picture above....you have to buy the entire blade. That's fine as long as they fit. I found these online and they look like they're made for the hook end arms.

Apparently these wipers are made by United Pacific. The cheapest I've found is these in case anyone else needs them:

Yeah, I hope I don't need to use them but you only need them when you need them. I'll use RainX too and I know you almost don't need wipers when using it. I just need to put something on the car to cover the wiper posts ;). I sometimes wonder why I spent $400 on a Raingear setup.

For what it will do to the resale value of your Nomad one day. ;-)

Well considering that I'm looking at things like wipers I guess it means I'm getting a lot closer to that "one day", but have no intentions of selling it at this point. Nobody could afford it if I charged $20 per hour for my time building this thing. LOL! :D
