i have a 55 it came with a 6 cyl eng . i put in a 305 ci.with air cond. i am still using the 6 cyl core
support. and the oem radiator . i noticed in some pictures people are using much larger condenser than i have but
i have no more room between the radiator and the hood latch bracket. the pictures i saw
are missing anything in front of the radiator and condenser . can anyone give me any info that may help?
thanks norm

It's tight on a 55 but lots of guys have installed them. Most guys go with a crossflow radiator and large condenser.

Here's one with a stock radiator in the 6cyl position.

Looks to me like the side panels are there and they're chrome. See the reflection of the horns?

Those are crossflow radiators mounted in FRONT of the support like the 6 cylinder radiator. I don't know if they're stock supports or aftermarket.
