electric wipers

not sure where i needed to post this so i'll try here. many yrs ago i changed my windshield wipers to electric. it is a 2 speed motor put even on high they are very slow. is there a replacement that has a fairly fast speed? i have to pull over in most rain storms because of the slow speed

Hi norm. Are you using the stock wiper motor? I don't think they ever ran as fast as those on modern cars. If it's running like it's supposed to, you might try using some RainX on your windshield. It helps a lot and you almost don't even need wipers.

oem was vacuum , i put on an all elec. many yrs ago. thanks for the rain x idea
