The 1956-57 Chevrolet V-8 thermostat housing for the passenger cars was cast iron and the part number is 3705018 . The 56-57 Corvette used a aluminum housing part number 3837223 . These thermostat housing's take a real beating over time , and finding a nice original one is nearly impossible . Any suggestions on who makes the best cast iron reproduction one ?
