55 vanity mirror

hello all, on my 55 convertible does the passenger visor vanity mirror face in or out of the windshield... thanks

AS far as I know, the visor vanity mirror installs/mounts the same as all other models.. ie. Your passenger can USE the visor vanity mirror when they fold the visor DOWN in front of their eyes (the mirror mounts ON TOP of the visor in it's normally 'folded up' position.

on a convertible the mirror hits the top lock assy. unless the mirror isn't hidden but mounts facing the passenger in the up position on convertibles ....

I have never owned a '55 convertible, although I did assist in restoring one once, but I don't recall any specifics (or even if Steve's had a visor vanity mirror)...? Maybe someone wiht a convertible will respond...
