    Headers

    So my 55 Bel Air with 350 ci still front motor mounts and bell housing mounts, 4 speed trans with the factory clutch linkage setup looking for headers to fit this setup.

    Old standby, Hooker and Hedman still sell the long tube headers they have sold since the late 60s. They will have a ground clearance problem on a lowered car.

    Then there's the sometimes they fit and sometimes they won't Patriot 3/4 length headers. Then there's block hugger headers which are a waste of money unless you like faux stuff. I.e., look like headers and perform like stock.

      The old BBC hookers I finally threw out after no one wanted them had only 3.25" clearance to the road, and that was at factory height not lowered! I changed to side mounts.
