Jerry Carbunoc in California has been straightening liftgates at the Nomad Convention for 30 yrs. He sometimes has rechromed liftgates for exchange. 714-457-1955 PST
Jerry Carpenter in Tennessee has straightened 4 for me. 43-933-8473. Tell him that Gary Wylie referred you to him.
Mad Mook in AZ also does a nice job straightening liftgates. MadMooks, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Phone: (310) 528-0482, Email: michaelbakotich@ca.rr.com
These are the ONLY three I would/could recommend as they all do a good job, which I cannot say about another one that I see advertise at times, as the only one of his I've seen was AWFUL.Last edited by BamaNomad; 07-13-2022, 07:36 AM. -

Thanks for the info on "lift gate straightening", I have made contact with Jerry in Tn.
I am now in need of the rear most ceiling bow for a 55 Nomad. I am sure these are like Hen's Teeeth without purchasing a complete set, but just thought I would ask. Are any of the other model bows compatible with the Nomad? I have access to a stainless-steel fabrication shop if any minor modifications would have to be made.Comment

Perry? there are at least two different approaches to finding the headliner bow you need... but first of all you need to consult the specs and determine the NUMBER of the one you need (they are each numbered)..
1) Maybe quickest and possibly the most expensive - post the number bow you need on every trifive board you know of, as well as on the facebook trifive, and maybe ebay..
2) If you are like me you could just talk/email to your friends and Nomad acquaintances, and go to all the accessible swap meets you are able to and LOOK for what you need. Probably slower but probably most negotiable method..
Front Bow is # 72
2nd bow is # 37
3rd Bow is the Floater with the leg of the "L" to the rear
4th bow is # 42
5th bow is # 43
6th bow is # 44
7th bow is # 45 Last bow"
