Has anyone ever put a old hemi in a 55. I am putting a 55 rebuilt hemi in my belair, wondering if anyone has done it and what to expect. I could have put an ls3 in it for less but I want the look of the hemi as I rarely ever see a hemi in anything, and they look good.

My buddy is installing a Viper Motor in the 55 chevy that he bought from Nick (NCW).

Yep Marty. He's bringing a dummy block over this week to trial fit it. If it looks like it will work we're going to put a project proposal together. It's a brute...here's a pic of the plastic dummy block beside a 454.
