Mike, no offense and I always appreciate your comments. I just get tired of the crap I see on facebook and elsewhere, when a guy asks for help and all people do is criticize what he's doing. We had a poster like that here that just couldn't answer questions, and would inject his unsolicited opinions into other people's posts. It's like the "big wheel" thing....a guy shows pics of his car with 18 or 20" wheels and they jump on and bash his work. Constructive criticism is fine and often I appreciate it, if it's done right. And I know there's a fine line there too as to how someone takes it. As far as bench seats, I don't see how in any way they're better than bucket seats. Except maybe your girlfriend can sit closer to you....but my wife might not like that.

Yes. You are correct. Not my place to offer an opinion vs real help. The OP didn't ask for an opinion.. yet, I gave one. This said, I initially thought you were being a dick, but, then, I thought about it, and perhaps, the dick was me. Main thing is, we all love trifive Chevies. And, if we all thought the same, it would get boring.

Following the lead from Chevynut on the Chevy PU bucket seats with integral seatbelts, I did some internet searching and think these might maybe blend in a bit better:

A shot of similar without the headrest:
        07-12 Saab 9-3 Convertible seat.jpg
These are from Saab 9-3 convertibles. I don't know dimensions (and not sure how to get them), so don't know how they might fit. I have seen them for sale on eBay, but just as a passenger or driver seat, not a pair. Freight is a big cost.
The integral seatbelt part of the seat is less obtrusive than most integral seatbelt bucket seats.
        Regards, Doug

Apologies for the steering wheel being on the "right" side

              Blacky,
Thanks for the pics of the Saab seats in place - look very nice! The car is spectacular, and the seats don't look odd in the car profile shot! I will have to continue to keep my eyes open for them on ebay. The interior on my car is stock, wondering how the original cloud upholstery will look on those seats.
              Thanks, Doug

                Blacky,
I am pursuing those Saab seats on eBay, and may have found a couple. Would it be possible for you to provide pics of the floor modification your buddy did to get the seats to sit right? Do you know if the seats he used were power or manual - if power, were there workarounds that had to be done? The seats I am considering are manual adjust, which may be the simplest solution.
                Thanks, Doug
