What Oil Pan on LS 3 Swap?

Hi Guys,

Swapping out my LS1 in my '55 Nomad for a LS3 525 HP Crate engine and wondering what oil pan others have used their LS3 Nomad swap?
Note from GM Performance states stock oil pan will only work with late model Camro!

Holley makes a pan that clears and doesn?t go below the crossmember. I used it on the LS3/525 in my 56, with an Art Morrison chassis.

The Holley p/n is 302-1, works with stock chassis too. TSP also has a clone of it for a few less $$.

So LS1 and LS3 don't use the same pan?

Yes they do use the same pan. Different pans are for different chassis.
