    Accell Coil

    I am going to run a Caddy Olds Air cleaner on my 56 Wagon, And they are BIG. The Accell Coil I have on the Firewall is in the way. It is currently mountd verticaly, can you mount these Horizontaly??

    Hi Rob , yes you can I have in the pass I have used them vertical (Straight up) or Horizontal (flat) or straight down the units are seal oil filled. Just try to keep it from heat though

      Great Good to know!!! I already had to modify the base of the air cleaner to clear the firewall, the.... The Coil!!

        With the speed of electricity being 186,000 miles per second, don't understand why everyone tries to keep the wiring runs as short as possible when running coils, etc. Wouldn't running larger wire with more/finer strands make up for any voltage losses from longer runs?
