What we used to refer to as "Feulie Heads", betrayed by the double camel humps. Light weight blocks and heads are always cool. Go for it

Mark: I'd want to find out from Speedway who makes the PN you are interested in... and what kind of warranty against 'cracking' etc.. There are some makers of small block aluminum heads that do not enjoy a great reputation...

Speedway machines the castings themselves I forgot to ask who cast them. I liked them over Trickflow because they are 64cc over 60 cc

Check the exh port location so you don't get in trouble with header fitment.

I haven't found the warranty clause. But, they're not the cheapest heads on that site and the priceless Edelbrocks are all sold out

Speedway also sells 2.5" Rams Horn exhaust manifolds that are seemingly cast from the originals... (seemingly identical except for the PN cast in)... about $100 per pair...

I actually bought two sets from them when they had a sale a few years ago. Recently sold a set for more than I paid for both sets. I kept a pair for this project.

I would run these. Looks like a good choice for early 327.

Paint them chevy orange if you want to disguise their 'aluminium nature'...

After spending the money for them I hate to do that to them, thought I would toss this out for opinions. Intake is also aluminum 3x2.

Natural aluminum oxidizes, and isn't very pretty. Paint them with something (chevy orange, aluminum?, or Clear coat, OR any other color you want to display your engine)... with aluminum heads and intake, your engine is lighter by ~ 100 lbs or so. with those aluminum castings (cast like cast iron stock heads), painting them as you would cast iron heads disguises the fact they are aluminum. With aluminum heads, you can get by with a little higher compression and less tendency to knock with low octane fuel.

It all depends on what you want to do with your engine. Paint the block aluminum too, and tell everyone it's ALL ALuminium..

I'd polish them up as shiny as possible
