Dose the headlinner in a 1957 Nomad use a wire type headlinner bow like many cars use which installs into a pocket in the headlinner along with the Chrome bows to hold up the headlinner , or do they just only use the Chrome bows to hold up the headlinner ?

The Nomad headliner has cardboard strips sewn into it, the cardboard sections feed into the headliner bows.
No, there is not an additional wire like what is used on sedans wagons etc
