I now have the Nomad running and shifting again . It dose have a vacuum leak at the rear base of the 4 barrel Carter and a slight valve lifter noise , but it's time to keep going and assemble the front sheet metal . The how to restore your 57 Chevrolet book and the assembly manual are a great help . I wish they had a good video of someone actually doing it . From glueing the rubber anti - squeak seals on to step by step assembly . I am almost done prepping and painting the inner fenders , and front splash pan , then its on to installing them on first . If anyone knows of any videos showing this process let me know . I have a front end hardware kit all the rubber seals , and still have to locate the front air ducts , and front left and right splash pan ends , and there seems to be a left and right rear brace from inner fenders to firewall , that's 6 pieces that need to still be accounted for prepped and painted as needed . Getting everything present and accounted for is my first step .
