I thought it was pretty simple. Look at the pictures of the engines. One clearly shows a V8 and the other a 6 cylinder. If you look in the assembly manual, the "standard" engine is the 6 cylinder and the V8 is an option in the RPO section.

I'd say all you need is the rod from the pedal arm to the carburetor. This is the V8 throttle linkage.

I have all that stuff in red, but the drawing you've posted is for a 6-cylinder. I posted pics showing the difference between the V8 and 6-cylinder linkage.

210chevy, I decided to take one more look in my attic and guess what I found?

The pedal is a super nice used original one.

I don't have the throttle rod but the rest is in nice shape.

I checked my stash and I don't have the gas pedal lever assembly. I have some nice pedals and an accelerator linkage that I converted to a cable setup using a Pontiac cable. I do have one on my 6 cylinder parts car but I don't know if the lever is the same. I think the inside portion is the same. If you can't find anything I would be willing to remove it.

There's one on ebay that looks pretty crusty and the pedal is worn badly...

There's one on ebay that it says is for a 6 cylinder, but I dont know what makes it different than a V8.

I'm still at my place in Montana and will be heading home to Colorado in the morning. I'll try to remember to check when I get back.

I might have some of it, at least the pedal and the lever. I'll check if you can't find anything.
