I know MOST of us at this site are 'old farts'.. .. and we've owned our tools for many years... but in case there's any younger (or new) mechanics among us, you should be aware that Sears is running a great sale on their CRAFTSMAN tools... nominally 50% off...
This is an example:
Of course Sears is a 'failing enterprise', and your area may not even have a Sears store any more (I don't), but you can order the items, sometimes with free shipping, AND Sears has sold the ability to sell Craftsman tools to many other companies (Lowes, ACE HW, and others), so the Craftsman brand will be around for a long long time yet, and as far as I know, their lifetime warranty is still good on their handtools! My Craftsman hand tools has served me well since my wife bought me my first Craftsman set for our first Christmas together (1970), and of course I've augmented those initial tools many times over the years since!
