    Another successful Wyoming hunt

Got this guy yesterday after a 2 hour stalk. Had him at about 250 yards a couple of times but couldn't get into position for a shot. Finally belly-crawled through the sagebrush and got to 255 yards...one shot from the .270 did it. I hunted this buck during the archery season in August but couldn't get him in range. Not sure if he's bigger than my 2011 buck yet. It took me 5 years to draw this tag this time, after drawing every year for 7 years. I got this one literally 100 yards from where I shot the 2011 buck.

Nice buck! Are you sure it's a buck? It's wearing lipstick!! My buck that I got back in the eighties was similar in size. Were you hunting on private or Guberment land?

Troy, any idea what your buck scored?

I just rough measured his horns at 15 1/2" on one side and 15 1/8" on the other. Haven't scored him yet but he'll sure go high 70's. My 2011 buck went 79 6/8" green/gross score. I hunt on my friend's 17,000 acre ranch near Casper. Most of it is Walk-in-hunting but we have one section of the ranch that's separate from the main ranch.

Here's my 2011 buck...I think he has more mass:

                Lazlo,

No I don't we never scored it. I misjudged yours mine was more around 13" like 12 3/4", my step dad didn't even think it was worth mounting. It was my first and only Antelope.
