1957 After market hubs/taper bearing, quaility

Can anyone say how the quality is on the after market kit to convert to taper bearings ? I was told that original 1961 and up Chevrolet hubs would work . If I find original 61 and up Chevrolet hubs then I can probably find NOS "Timken bearing , and races ". Has anyone used the repo kits ? This is for a high end restoration on a 1957 Nomad .
