Lower windshield glazing leg on cowl

This leg needs to be removed in order to access the spot welds interior of that. Is this adhered to the cowl? I am replacing the entire upper cowl and I see replacement units for this leg available on line. Light persuasion isn’t doing it. I do see a small bead of filler or adhesive along the exterior lower edge.

I have no idea...having never done what you are doing. You might post a few pics of it here so others can see and help you out.

Agree on the pics - worth a thousand words (plus or minus).

Well the removal was tedious but definitely worth the effort. One added major benefit is it gives full access behind the dash for all of your wiring, wiper mechanism, instrument replacement, stereo and vintage air install. I won’t have to weld it in place until all that is done without having to ever crawl under the dash
