Hi everyone,
Just saying hello, I signed up today as I just purchased the car I've been waiting almost 30 years to have. She has some work to be done but this site and the groups knowledge base seems like it'll be a great resource for me.
I'm in southern Indiana, hope to connect with anyone in the tri state region for clubs, shows, cruise ins or just want to talk cars.
Immediately I need to get a longer speedometer cable to hook to the munci 4 speed that was swapped into this car. Get the gas gauge working and then start in on the electrical for the dash. Only thing that works is the turn signals and they don't work when the headlights are on. So I'll be into a lot. Future for the car is power breaks with disc in the front. A new interior. I need to find all the missing parts that were taken off. Looks like inner door A piller trim is from a different body style. Small things like that.
I plan to drive the car as much as possible and enjoy it. I passed a 1955 on the road yesterday in my local area and it was nice seeing someone else out driving theirs.
Thanks for adding me.
Have a good week!
Jared
