Thanks for the add to the group. I am 62 years old. And have been an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic most of my adult life. My Mother passed July 17th, 2025. And I am waiting for some of her life insurance money to get here. So I can buy what is as close to the Car of My Dreams as I can get, since I was a little kid. A 1957 Chevy Beauville Wagon. I am Retiring on my Birthday on April 27th, 2026. In a little over 5 months from now. So ready to start Enjoying whatever the hell I want to do, and not what a job requires me to do. And we wanted an Old Classic that the Wife and I can drive around and maybe start going to some cars shows together. And basically just to look good in it driving down the road wherever we go. Should be picking it up very soon. And I am like a Kid in a Candy store! 57 Chevy 1.jpg 57 Chevy 3.jpg 57 Chevy 2.jpg 57 Chevy 4.jpg 57 Chevy 5.jpg

Welcome. Looks like a nice wagon. Where are you from?
I'm heading to the Good Guys show in Scottsdale in my 56 210 tomorrow morning. Probably the last show of the year. -
Welcome to the group SGlide. My first wagon was a 57 Beauville and had it for about 10 years before selling it to buy the Nomad. Ask your questions as you get into working on it. They have a unique gas tank and the 3rd row seat. Does yours have all the parts for that seat? They can be hard to find.1957 Nomad- LS1/T56 on C4 chassis
