New "Old guy": Hello fellow Tri Five people. Our car is a "56 Bel Air Sport Coupe that my wife and I purchased June 14, 1965. It was a nice all original Matador Red/Adobe Beige car; 265 Power pack, Powerglide, PS, PB, Padded Dash. Over the years I repainted it myself with Dupont acrylic lacquer, changed the interior to all black vinyl, installed a 327, 4 speed and in the early '80s added a '63 Corvette fuel injection. It's not a show car or a trailer queen, but we still enjoy our Chevy.
