Welcome to the site. My first car was a 55 Chevy 2-door sedan that I bought with no engine, transmission, diff, or axles for $35 when I was in high school. I built a 283 for it in auto shop and dropped a T10 4-speed into it. It was in primer for a year or so. A guy offered me a 390HP 427 for it so I dropped it in along with a muncie and 4.11 posi. Then it got a new custom lacquer paint job that a friend of mine did in his body shop. It was stolen after 3 days in the shithole they call Kansas City, MO. I never saw it again.

            Thanks for your replies! 👍

No I don?t think I?ll get another Tri Five, but definitely glad I experienced one for a few years back in the early 70?s.

Always enjoy seeing awesome T5 Resto Mod?s crossing the block at Mecum & BJ auctions.

I?m still a Bowtie Boy, here?s the two beauties I currently enjoy?
