Very nice Nomad ya got there. Did you have issues getting the windows adjusted to allow the door to open/close with the window up...and still sealed tightly against the top rubber? (I'm having all kinds of issues with mine. Same setup...AutoCity glass with the upper chrome frames.

Thank you for the nice comments It's been about 10 years since me and my restorer best friend took apart a solid original car which was originally painted " Canyon Coral ". the car had been repainted 2 more times over the years over the original paint . The last time the color looked more like " Mary Kay Pink " than " Canyon Coral " which has a lot of clay color in it . Since my restorer friend was still up for the restoration we went at it stripping off the 3 coats of old paint . My friend and me met Joe Wurn at the Hershey Fall meet years ago and he had his Inca Silver w/ ivory roof Nomad at the top of the show field and he started asking me questions about my Nomad like if it's an early to mid car the wheels are still painted exterior body color , if it's a late car all the wheels are all Inca Silver . Turns out Joe was an AACA Judge for the 57 Chevrolets for over 25 years . We got his contact information , and my restorer friend Bob called him to ask the correct colors for the deluxe heater which is Hammerstone Grey and he gave my friend info over the next "X" amount of years to get things right . Joe took the car to his home in Maryland and installed the front clip , the tailgate , the stainless trim , and all the new glass after my friend Bob took ill .The car also had the headliner installed at an interior shop in Maryland that Joe knew . the car still needs to have the seats redone and the rest of the interior . People who understand what it takes to do a correct body off restoration on a car like this know what's involved , and for some like me it has to be spread out for cost restraints . Thanks also to " Bama " who has helped to post pictures in the past .
