What brand is your PTFE hose? Fragola makes/sells appropriate fittings for Parker PTFE and equivalent, available at Summit and the like.

That flange is welded crooked, wasn't intended that way by design. Holley rep is FOS. I would send them back, especially since they are coated.

GM engines don't always hold fuel pressure after shutoff. I don't think a Walbro pump has a check valve. You should be good if you have proper fuel...
