Attended services over the weekend for a great man who taught me and a many of my friends a lot. A great machinist, welder, and racer Errol Kampschroeder. One of his hobbies was owning and running Midwest Raceway in Manhattan Ks, however a celebration of his life was held at Heartland Park Topeka.

The 409 in above picture has Hilborn injection off a Max Wedge Mopar machined to fit a highly modified Offy 2x4 intake. Back in the 70s and 80s car had a clutch turbo 400 both were shop built by Errol, due to NHRA rules I believe it currently has a glide.
Very sad to learn of your friend's passing, Mark. It is said that we are never really gone so long as family and friends remember us. And you have honoured your friend's memory well here.
