Seeing that photo of that car today reminded me to call my uncle who owned one exactly like that about 60 yrs ago.. He had just gotten out of the Marines when he purchased that car.. I think it was only 3-4 yrs old at that time... His next car was a '62 Impala SS in the exact same colors... :)

you're right Des... but I've never seen a Nomad that I didn't like... regardless of color.. even one I saw in a stream bed once.. :)
When I was still a kid, my next door neighbor in his twenties had a '57 identical to that black & white one. I was thrilled when he let me help him wash it. It was the nicest car in our neighborhood at the time.
