Oh, now i see. You still have the stock batwing leaf spring set up on the rear.
On my Nomad build, I eliminated that batwing in favor of coil overs.
Not sure how to advise you on height...

That's going to take a coil over adjustment (probably loosening the ring below the spring so that it relaxes the spring compression.
If you get it all the way loose (springs move around by hand),...
Fantastic progress Timo! Can't wait to see the video of you driving it.
I second Buster's comments. I too wired up my first car (57 chev 9 passenger wagon) probably 10 years ago now, and learned ALOT that has carried forth with me on projects since that one. I used an...
Lookin' good Richard. I have a hydroboost setup in my Nomad too, and inverted it like yours. But theres alot more room under the hood and between the valve cover and inner fender than what you have...
That looks more like a Juan Pablo incident to me. :D
I have done absolutely NOTHING more with my Nomad build. I drive it locally but still need to continue on with the interior buildout in preparation for (eventually) custom upholstery. Been swamped...
When there's a will, there's a way.
Good to hear you got it in.
11 foot 4 inches ceiling height for a bendpak 10K lift.
Cut a hole in your garage brutha!. :p
Wow. You and your crew earned your gold stars on this one! What a PITA. Good that you stuck to it enough to figure out what was causing all the drama. Thank you for posting this Robert. I'm sure one...
The pics I tried to upload were 3.8 megs each. Too big. So I resized them. Here ya go...

Thanks Richard. I'm backed up on projects, so a 59 corvette is a distant dream at this point. Maybe someday...
the other way is to find someone who has one, and is willing to part with it. Restomod...
Finally got the race flags up on the walls. Have a few more to put up still. And got the workbench set up too.
(welll after multiple attempts to upload 3 pics, this website doesnt seem to let me do...
Snapped a pic of the underside of my front bumper (57 nomad). Didn't measure the length though.

Are you looking for another set of brackets? I may have some stashed in my shed...
Bama...with all that cash you're so flush with...why don't you have a 2 post lift by now? You can stop laying on your back for another $4k outlay. Best addition Ive ever done in my garage.
Good progress here Brian. Drive it and enjoy it.
Life just gets in the way sometimes. Same thing happening to me over here on the west coast. The trick is to prioritize and then "whack a mole" one task at a time each day.
Bill, sorry to hear...
One of these years, I'm going to fly out to Pigeon Forge for this show and meet you guys. can't make it happen this year though. :(
Welcome to TriFiveChevys. Let's see a pic or 2 of that truck!
My corvette (oops, i mean your wife's corvette :D) is coming along nicely.
Got to do it right on getting those gaps and trim to fit snug.
this is a 100K+ restomod corvette being built. No...
Great progress you've made here Timo! Wiring is a challenge no doubt, especially when you've got a more modern build in mind. Relays are good..I used a bunch of them in my Nomad when I wired it up...
Sometimes getting a 2nd opinion helps. In this case, it did.
Carry on!
That's looking great Richard. I can't wait to see it in final paint.
Nice find! Another one leaving CA for other destinations. Keep that off the salty roads please. That one is in great condition. Enjoy it and drive it!
That looks like a winner to me. Bit dont spend too much time looking in the rearview mirror. Drop that hood and drive it! :p
