Dom, I also like to use 'goop' , or GOJO hand cleaner for temporary lubrication especially for rubber parts, because it dries so thoroughly, and I've also heard that 'lanolin' is good for rubber...
Doug's post reminded me... that's also the way it had to be engaged on my '57 Nomad...

I agree with you Bill... but when our long term Petroleum reserves plans runs up against 'politics' , it probably loses! When have politicians let long term plans beat out 'short term' political...

Dual: Those original showroom manuals are GREAT to have, but most I've seen over the years have some damage.. from sun, water, etc.. but the original interior 'material' samples and Paint chip...
