Very nice!
Watch your pinion angles for sure. On the LS C4 chassis I didn't build, I ended up with a 4 degree trans down angle, and zero at the IRS diff. I can only hope that's not going to be an issue. But...
I always wondered how well that tool works, and could probably be used for lots of stuff. The only thing that concerns me is the life, and cost of the consumables?
I would love to see a video on how well that works?
I originally was going to use a socket, but it is just plain to fat. It was hard enough to get this tool right on the first try on the EMT, plus I didn't need to buy, or destroy a socket. It has to...
I recently had this same problem. There was no way to do it with needle nose, because I tried. I didn't want to buy another seldom used tool, so I tried to come up with something on my own first....
So many posts would be so much more informative, and interesting if people would just take a few extra minutes to simply post a picture. Otherwise you can only guess.
No, but I'm going to try this advertised on TV sealer I picked up at Menards for like $12.

No idea, but it would help if you edited your post, and added a picture.
Impressive. I've been stuck for over a week now just trying to run 2 stupid transmission cooler lines.
Good luck. I've been working on a 55 210 for 6 years just trying to get it back on the road where it belongs. At least it's in sight soon I hope. Always something that doesn't go as thoughtfully...
I decided that for my build, I really wasn't wanting to use either the FR, or ID column, so I went a totally different route with a collapsible safety racing column.

An alternative would be to mount a gravity type switch like a lot of cars use for hoods, and trunks. I don't know, but at some time they probably used mercury switches. I really don't even know how a...
That's why I went with Ron Francis. You still have to figure a lot of stuff out, but the color coded/labeled wires are on the color schematic it eventually makes sense.
You have to hook up every...
My rescue dog is my best friend, but not much for a helping hand. So when I need to push on any of the brake/throttle/clutch pedals by myself, I simply turn the handle around on my 32" bar clamp....
Sure it will work having the throttle return springs pulling back towards the firewall, but I always use the recommended position of mounting the springs in front pulling directly near the linkage or...
Anymore I prefer the mini-starters, but in the case of the original Chevy starters, is that they also had the always missing front brace on them to keep them from moving around.
Sorry, but I would go back to the drawing board on that. Looks like a recipe for unintended acceleration.
Awesome! I love the stainless trim, but I am really hating putting it on, and mine won't have much. I wish someone could come up with a good way to just stick them on for a lot of pieces.
I've been using this SEM direct to metal paint for lots of smaller parts for years. It has the perfect black sheen, flashes in a couple minutes, and after 3 coats it's ready to touch in like 15...
When I first got my 2900lb Camaro on the road with a M21 in it, I too didn't really like the 2.20 first gear for off the line acceleration. Having a light flywheel didn't help, and I am running a...
I just recently had the battle putting my trim on too. I think the center trim piece goes in last, and just snaps in. That's how I did mine.
Good progress, but it never ends. Seems like the more you do, the more there is left to do.
Just wanted to add this previous thread about my wheel and tire choice. 275/40-17 tires on 9.5in wide wheels front and rear.

I keep doing it backwards. Too nice to work in!
