I've always found it to be an advantage to upgrade with the 'Self Adjusting' Features for the original rear brakes! The kits are commonly available.

you 'wet' the tape when installing to help it slide in, when it dries it 'locks' it in place. Some use 'windex' and others use 'oil' to wet the tape...
