I have been getting lots of good hits locally so I'm going to end this thread now. Thanks!
I'm looking for a complete 327 engine preferably running but will consider a buildable unit. I'm located in West Tennessee.
One last question if I may? I see there are different depth throw out bearings so how do I know which size I will need? I have a Borg Warner Super T10 4 speed and I have just ordered a clutch...
Thanks Rick! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I'm sure I will go with the 57 design but I am curious as to why the 57 is a better design? Is it the angle of the clutch fork?
I can't afford the hydraulic route but thanks Al Dente! I have found complete clutch linkage kits for 55's and 57's for my 55. Would you still recommend that I get the 57 kit and change to the...
I found the kit pictured above just now and it's for a 57. Is it missing anything I'm going to need other than the clutch fork?

Could anyone tell me if any vendor has a complete clutch linkage kit (clutch pedal to throw out bearing) and/or make a recommendation please? I have a 55 but I understand I'm needing a 57 set up in...
Thanks Gary! We had a great time and we always enjoy the great state of Alabama and the people we meet there. Enjoy those very impressive Nomads! They are Beautiful!!! And thank you for educating...
If it’s a hydraulic flat tappet make sure you use a high zinc break in oil and keep the rpm’s up for about 20 minutes or so.
Thank you but BamaNomad had what I was looking for. I’m sorry the PM thing was a mess and communication failures were rampant. Regards, Greg
Thank you Gary for reaching out to me when I had given up on finding a 3.36 third member on this site! You are First Class!!! Greg
I have agreed to buy from two different members ( you know who you are) and was left hanging both times as both stopped communicating. I give up. Consider this thread no longer valid please.
I sent you a pm last week as well but no response.
Does anyone else have one available?
Several PM’s sent
Thanks but I have a deal pending with markm.
WTB 1955-1964 Chevy 3.36 gear ratio rear differential/center section.
I have found and bought a Borg Warner Super T 10 so this thread can be considered over. Thanks! Bo
I bought my disconnect at Wal Mart. Cheap but effective!
I have went with a Hayden 2747 fan clutch, Derale 17117 6 blade fan, and an Ecklers 18-307 aluminun fan shroud. By my measurements I should be about 2 inches from my radiator with the fan/clutch. I...
Another question if I may?. How far from your radiators are your fans no matter what water pumps you are using?
Serpentine pulley set up is requiring a long pump and that’s what’s on it already.
Are any of you using a clutch fan setup with a long water pump in a small block 55? If so, what setup do you have please? Bo
