You have come a long way since your first post looking good.
I not only don't like the slow fill the billet look does not fit well with the 3x2s Vette valve covers etc.

Why do they make those tubes so small, I will not use one, my Th350 in my 56 had a 79 Z28 stick and my 700R4 has a 85 Caprice wagoon stick.
I was wondering to about the fast burn combustion chambers having something to do with it.
My fresh .060 over early 60s 327 appears to run cooler than the .060 over late 60s 350,same water pump and stock 56 V8 radiator. Both are flattop pistons the 350 has 68 291 2.02 Camel Hump heads and...
I bought an assortment of converter bolts at an auction a few years back, I think I know where it is at.
I just got finished swapping out a perfectly good 69 model 300hp 4 bolt 350 with 68 2.02/1.60 camel humps and an L-79 cam for a 63 model 327 with Trick Flow aluminum DHC175 heads and a updated...
A 500 Box is a good plan.
It is alive the February of 62 date coded 327 runs again this time with fast burn aluminum Trick Flow Camel Humps. The 3x2 setup still needs fine tuned and the 700r4 cable adjusted. I kind of miss my...
You are correct on a later model GM car, but I remember now these cars are different. It has been a while since I screwed with my a-arms and some of this is getting fuzzy.
Lower joints appear to be upside down
Depends on parts used stock or aftermarket.
I have used them off 79 Camaro Z28 and 74 Chevelle both because they were free. Both worked well as the 71Chevelle one should.
I have even had to resort to burning the rubber with a torch. A very stinky Smokey job for summer months, finishing them off with an air hammer.
If memory serves me correct it takes like 500ft pounds to crush a sleeve. Buzzard is correct about the inch pound spec as turning force.
It takes a pretty good lick with a 1/2inch impact to crush a sleeve. Rick is correct about the backlash.
I just zap them with an impact, being careful nut to add crush to the sleeve.
The 350/350 is a great combo for these cars, I sometimes wish I would have left mine alone.
All firewalls the same for each 55-57 models for each year. The 57 is shorter than 55 or 56.
Spark plugs are not rocket science go for it.
I remember in the 90s my Dads 88 Jimmy was peeling I took it to a buddy who said he could paint it buy go back to dealer and see them. There was a recall and it cost Dad a couple hundred due to age....
I have done that with lacquer more than once. I have little experience with CC.
I believe they sell a kit with an assortment of springs, rods and jets. Well worth the money.
When we had a local Maaco I prepped numerous flip cars and had them painted there with very good results. They like so many of my go to places are gone. Other than that Rick nailed it.
