That scenario right there would be extremely concerning to me, because your interior guy has no financial incentive to finish your interior, at least not in a somewhat reasonable time frame. I...
You can find used garnish mouldings for sale on ebay.
Man, this build thread has come to a screeching halt......for a while now. Maybe it's time to move it to the Sitting and Rotting forum. Just sayin'.
Did Chevynut pass away? Or did he take his football and go home after all of the smartass remarks on his build thread?
Laz, are you getting close to mounting the body onto the chassis?
Nice, an introduction and an advertisement all in one! Welcome aboard!
I experienced that same issue with my M/T ET Streets, and the sway went away when I increased the tire pressure by just a couple psi.
The ideal solution is to mount the drag radials on another pair of wheels, and put them on the day you go to the dragstrip.
LOL!
Hood looks fantastic!

I threw away the stock control panel and went with the VA 3 knob control panel.
Yep, it IS thin. I have the 27" model, and I just measured the metal thickness, and its around .012 thick, give or take a thou.
And its not even April Fool's Day. Whomever at K&N allowed this joke go to market should be fired. It's going to go the way of the Edsel.
Looks great! It is happy times to get paint on it, FINALLY!
Maybe they stopped making them, because just weren't selling enough? I bought AFS 27" from Summit Racing about a year ago.
I buy my rolls of PSA sandpaper from either my local Finishmaster or...
You've been in this project for 8+ years, what's a couple more weeks? Use that time to look over your sheet metal one more time.
The sculpted door panels look great! Congrats on getting your fantastic car nearly ready for the road! There's always some new car bugs to work out, but that first ride is always memorable!
I'm not doubting your painter's expertise at all.
Can I ask how many coats of clear he is going to spray?
IMO, the responsibility for the cut n buff should lie on the painter, because if the painter burns through, then he has to fix it. If Laz burns through, then he has to pay the guy to fix it. The...
The first pic doesn't look bad, but that last pic at an angle is quite a difference. If you do the front wheel wells with the liner, it "might" look unpleasing out in the sun. JMHO.
How does that bedliner color look against your paint color?
Those Deeds hangers are sharp. I looked them up, considering the quality, they aren't crazy expensive, either. I've used spherical rod ends as exhaust hangers on other hot rods. I might consider...
CN, are your exhaust pipes solid mounted to the frame, or hung with rubber hangers?
