Looks like FUN! Why didn't you just let the local firefighters practice on it? For free!

Building a new shop the way you want it is a big deal. Sounds like you're having fun and making progress.

    Nice Marty!

How big are you going to build it ? It's really fun to build your own shop . When I lived in Vancouver ,Wa I built a 40' x 60' and it was still to small !

On the dimensions of the building it can get confusing if i do not explain what i am up too. So here goes nothing the actual body of the building is 36x48 and will have 16' side walls, now i am going to put to that building dimension a 14' tip out or lean tube which in essence will be part the building, so the total size of shop would actually end up with a 50wX48d. So with the sidewalls being at 16' in the lean tube area i will have a loft above for more storage which will run the entire 48' of shop over the lean tube area. I will have 3 overhead doors and a man door all off the front gable of the building (no snow sliding off in front of doors) with one door being 12x14' and the two others being 8x12' plus you have a man door in the mix. I am aware of heating this building but it really fits what i am trying to get in the space i have now to utilize, hope this makes sense.
