    Air Bumper Jack

Looking at purchasing a Air Bumper Jack by Gray.
It is a local firm which has been around for quite awhile.
The specs state, 160lbs air pressure required.
My compressor will only supply 125lbs of pressure.

    What will happen at 125lbs?
Will not lift the maximum 41 inches or will not lift the maximum 4,000lbs??

My dad has a similar jack. Less air less lifting capacity. It will still go to the max height.

I purchased an air / hydraulic powered bottle jack from Northern Tool with 12 ton capacity for less than $ 100.00 to save my back some grief. Wish I'd done it 10 years sooner. Enjoy your new jack.

At 125 psi your jack will lift 3125 pounds.

i had one of those hooked up to a cheap sears compresor and we almost flipped my freinds 91 firebird no poblem so you should have no problem with a small compresor you might not be able to pick up the full capacity
