Fun weekend 3 car events. Pictures

I had a great weekend. I went to 3 events and saw some great cars and trucks.
First up is the LAPD Show

This is my homeboy's truck. He is LAPD and told me about the show. He also has a nice 55 Belair Sedan.

I know the gentleman that owns these trucks, I'm pretty friendly with one of his sons. He has more trucks and parts than anyone I know but he will not get off any of it.lol Both trucks are his.

    This is my homeboy's ride.

A guy I work with built this Caddy.

Really cool although its a Ford.lol

The next day a couple of buddies and I went to The Brothers Truck Show

After we left the Brother Show some friends of ours were having a BBQ at the park and here are some shots of what was there.

Wow. Nice shows. I missed some good ones. Where was that brothers show with all the trucks?

You keep posting these and you're gonna make me a truck fan soon. Especially that orange GMC with all that chrome up front. Sweeeeet.

    Thanks for posting.

Yeah isn't that one sweet truck? Man oh man was it nice. That dually truck was nicely done also. I was really into the craftmanship on that dually truck. The extended cab was flawless and the grafting of the dually fenders into the fleetside bed was done beautifully.

The Brothers Trucks Show is held every year at Featherly Regional Park in Anaheim, CA. I did not think there were many Cali guys here if any at all. My bad, sorry about that man, I should have posted the event.

Maybe you can try what I did. It seems to me that more 58-59 came with big windows at least thats how it seems to me. My truck is a 58 and I installed a 55/56 front end on it. The cabs are exactly the same with the exception of the hood hinge holes on the firewall but that is very easy to resolve.

I ran into the same issues when looking for a truck. The 55-57 big windows are more desirable thus more expensive.

Just a idea, but if you are into stock or numbers matching thats another story.
