    How I spent my weekend..

    This is what I started Sat morning with. I sanded ground and hammered for hours. My mind began to wonder (it does that a lot). What did the car look like that this frame came from? What was the family like that owned this car first? Last? I came across smells as I powered through old grease that reminded me of being a kid and the same smell from our local Sunoco gas station. I found a dent on the bottom that looked like the old church key can opener made. What could the story be on that one? We will never know Im sure. Anyway Im off this morning to Paint this frame that ate my whole Saturday. I'll post pictures of the finished painted foundation. Probably very late tonight! Danny

    Hey Danny, looks nice. Are you missing the rear brace on your frame, or is that an optical illusion?

    It's missing. That's why the guy bought the frame I got it from. He needed that one crossmember. I was going to use the one from the old frame but it's really not in good enough shape. It's been welded and it's thin in places. So I'm looking for a new one. If all else fails, I'll make a new one.
