Whether you need a cover is more of a deal on how much dust you expect in the building. Nothing to do with the temperature. It's going to get as cold as it is in the building regardless of a cover.
not much dust. its an attached garage. thanks for the info. I will probably get a cover so my kids don't scratch it !!!
can get a cheap one for dust on eBay. what I would use is a battery tender.

drive and enjoy them while you work on them, life is to short.
Take 4ml plastic on floor,and that'll hold down the moisture/rust elliment.
