Can anyone tell how tall a tire I can run on a stock 57 bel air and how wide ?

About 10" wide and 29" tall. The wheel offset/backspacing must be perfect, and the body to frame dimensions must be symmetrical.

A 275 tire will fit (~11") in a stock wheel tub. There's actually about 12 1/2" total room in each tub.

I have a 275/60/15 mounted on a 8" wheel. Its tight but fits. Have to jack up car to remove the tire
