'55 Convertible Project -Progress Over The Last Year

My '55 Vert chassis is finally back together and rolling! My friend Ben and I finished putting the rear end and suspension together and rolled it out the door. I was very happy how well everything went together.

I thought I hadn't made that much progress over the last year because I barely worked on it at all this winter because of the cold, but I was pretty surprised when I looked back at pictures.

The chassis just needs some final detail work, brake and fuel lines, and exhaust, then the painted body can go back on and I can start working on the wiring and interior. The end of the project is now in sight!

Here are some before and after shots:

    Lee,

I drilled out the spot welds.
A bit overkill, I know. I just didn't like the dented up crossmember.
