    Smallest diameter WATERPROOF electrical connector?

I need an electrical connector for 2 small wires that go to the courtesy lights I put in my doors. The lights go on AFTER the door panel is installed, and I don't want a huge hole in the door panel or the door. I need a small 2-contact waterproof connector or some other idea as to how to minimize the hole size and still get 2 wires from the back corner of the door to the lower door hinge area.

Thanks Nick, that's still going to require a hole bigger than 1/2" in diameter. I was hoping for something smaller. I wonder if there's a single wire connector that's smaller, and I could use two of them staggered an inch or two. I'd like to keep the hole as small as I can. 3/8" or smaller would be nice.

    Hey Lazslo,

Try these they help close a bigger hole plus keeps the wire from shaving against the metal

How about an Amphenol plug type? They make some pretty serious stuff. If it didn't have to be water tight you could use

Nick, the connectors will be inside the door, and I would think I would want a waterproof connection there since water can get in there during rain and when washing the car. I may go hit up Radio Shack or a local electronics supply store and see what they have. I think it only has to carry an amp or two. I suppose I could use a WeatherPak connector and leave the contacts out of the body until I install the door panel if I had to. I could assemble the connector through the access panel.
