Wow Sid, that is a nice bull. I assume that's a Roosevelt elk since it's on the coast?
We were out hunting elk here in CO all last week and saw a lot more hunters than elk. It's insane here.....twice as many nonresident bowhunters as residents, and the muzzleloader season was also last week, right in the middle of the archery season. They sell over 250,000 elk licenses a year and have 6 hunting seasons in most areas. e have around 300,000 elk and with so many hunters running around even the rifle success rate is only 20%. Archery is around 11%. I hate Colorado hunting these days.

Big boy there. Looks like he could put a hurt on you if you weren't careful. Hope he got plenty of tail before you guys killed him.
Damn nice, have any idea how much he weigh'ed? lol I'd think he got his fair share of tail lol
He is guessing 1000 to 1200 Lbs

Nice one. CN, my friend came back from Alaska last week, we had some Caribou and King Salmon...man that was a good meal.
JT, I brought about 100 pounds of caribou back from Alaska on one of my hunts up there, and it was delicious. I also went on a salmon fishing trip after my hunting partner ended up in the hospital after a bad fall on Prince of Wales Island in SE Alaska. Brought back 58 pounds of Coho salmon fillets.
