got the steering box out. thank you to all for the help. but one more question. the box was leaking. steering was good . can i just replace just the seals or do i need to do a complete rebuild
"Motor" apparently is a correct term for describing an internal combustion engine, but I have never been able to use that word when referring to a car or aircraft engine. It just sounds weird to me....kinda hick. Airplane motor? Nope. I have called a boat propulsion device a "motor" and that sounds okay for some reason.
A Tesla has a motor....a couple of them.

When my oem box leaked I filled it with white grease.
How about moter mounts and motor plates.
