55 chevy template

I just purchased a 1955 belair and it doesn't have a hood or trunk emblem so I ordered them thru ecklers. so does any one have a idea where I can get a template for the correct placement and hole drilling..thanks

Maybe someone can help with template. Measuring my 55 it is real close to 5 inches from the bottom sheet metal edge of hood to top row of holes measuring on the inside along the surface. Mine is a nomad so I can't help with trunk.

Look at the inside of the hood and you might find them.
